HOW TO SELECT THE BEST PRESCHOOL

As a parent we wish to give the best to our child. We want that our child is given the best food, best atmosphere to grow and best education. Education is a very important part of child’s life as it last at least 20 years of their life, therefore as parent we want that the school we select for our child should be the best.

Now the question is: “which is the best school?”

When looking for a good school parents must watch or inquire about following things.

1)    The background of the school owners: it is very important to know the background (education, experience etc) of the school owner as it tells you, how much the owner understand the concept of education and willing to change with the world. A person who belongs to education field and has experience as a teacher will always understands the needs of the child and will be able to make decisions which will benefits your child’s education and future.

2)    Employment rotation: Every company has job rotation but if the job rotation i.e change in employees is more frequent, then the company is not taking care of its employees. When it comes to school, teachers are the most important assets of the school. If the teachers in a particular school are changing in every few months then it’s a big red flag. It is very important that the teacher is taken care by the school management as they are the one who will be taking care of your child. If the teachers are happy with their work environment then they will create a happy and productive learning environment for your child as well.

3)    Safety: For every parent their child is the most precious thing in the world. We as parent are scared about our child’s safety all the time. A school has to provide safe and secure place for the students to learn and grow. Safety protocols in the classroom and while handing over of students should be followed by the school. Fire safety, CCTV. Anti-skid tape on stairs are few of the measures a school should provide to students so that the parents can be stress free.

4)    Curriculum: Every school has to follow a curriculum while teaching students. It is very important that the students are able to cope up with today’s changing and challenging world. Parent should see that what and how the curriculum has been taught in the school. Every child is different therefore their learning needs and interest will also be different. A parent should always select a school which caters the needs of all students with different methods of learning and encouraging student to think outside the box and become self-learners.

5)    Fees: As parents we all have budgets, though we want to give the best, out of this world facilities to our child, it might not be possible for everyone. As parent we have to see all the factors affecting our child’s future. A parent should select a budget friendly school with great facilities for their child so that the future of their child is safe and secure.
